قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ (١

1. Say : "He is Allâh, (the) One.

اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ (٢

2. "the Self-Sufficient master, whom All creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks.

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ (٣

3. "He begets not, nor was He begotten;

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ (٤

4. "And there is none co-equal or comparable unto him."
